I have been looking in RTL compiler library ( 45 nm NANGATEOPENCELL library) in which, I came across 2 different values for the input capacitance for a input pin of a particular cell, namely 'rise_capacitance' and 'fall_capacitance'. I do not know how interpret these values. I just want to know the input gate capacitance for some analysis purposes.
Do the value of input capacitance of any gate pin depends on whether the signal is rising or falling, even if the capacitance varies as per the region of operation of device , then how one can fix the value without knowing the parameters that decide the region of operation of device?
