I was trying to implement an eco on EDI. The catch is the database I am implementing it on is not created by edi. I have a full def of the design. And these are the steps that I did.
Created a .globals file were the input netlist is the eco netlist.
Created a view_definition file.
Def in the data using the normal def in command not the eco defin because defIn has preserve shape
Delete the filler- deleteFiller -prefix <pre>
Then eco place - ecoPlace
Then eco route - ecoRoute
I am getting an issue when I do an eco route. Mainly when it is doing the detailed route.
It has been 3 hours since i started and the design I have is small. Not sure why it is taking too long.
Please note that the database I am working on came from talus.
